For custodial apps and exchanges

Prove your reserves cover every customer.

Show that your reserves cover the balances you hold for customers, and let each customer confirm their own was counted, without publishing a list of balances.

The reserves behind this total covered it at the same ledger. No other customer is named; the path shows unnamed subtotals, including one neighbouring balance.

Check as one of these customers

Three letters and four digits, exactly as shown in the customer's app.

In a pilot, and in the holder step of the demo, this check runs against the contract on Stellar with verify_inclusion.

What leaves your systems

You publish one commitment, never a balance.

Each proof commits your customer balances as one value and shows that the total behind it is covered. The commitment, the totals and the result are public. The list itself never is. Today Solva holds the list and passes it to its prover over a private connection.

Questions

Questions custodial apps ask

For anything else, ask us directly, and a person will reply within one working day.

Do you publish our customers' balances?

No. Solva publishes the total you owe customers, your reserve balance and the result. No customer is named and no list of balances is published. A customer's own check shows unnamed subtotals, including one neighbouring balance.

What does a customer need to run the check?

Their account reference, which you already show them in your app. The check tells them that their balance was counted and which total it is part of.

What if a customer's balance is missing?

The check says so plainly, and the customer can raise it with you. Catching a missing balance is the whole reason the check exists.

How many customers can one proof cover?

Every customer you hold the asset for. Each balance in the list is counted, none can be dropped once the list is committed, and each customer can check their own. On Testnet today a proof takes up to 8 balances and 4 reserve figures; full-size proofs are coming soon.

What does our auditor get?

A dated result for every proof, each tied to a Stellar ledger, including the totals your customers check against: evidence to check between audits. Daily history and a CSV export are coming soon.

What does it cost?

Reading is free for everyone. Verifying a result costs about 0.012 XLM in Stellar network fees. Pilot terms are agreed with each institution before the first proof.
