For partners
Read coverage before you rely on it.
Wallets, lending pools and auditors read each institution's verified totals straight from Stellar, for free, without asking the issuer for permission.
Rust
registry.is_covered(&issuer, &asset)TypeScript
await registry.is_covered({ issuer, asset })Reading a verdict
Three verdicts, and what each reader does with them.
Each record will carry one of three verdicts. Read it, check the ledger it was made at, and act on it. Verdicts are coming soon: today a reader gets the verified totals and works out the verdict itself.
Reserves were at least what is owed at the last proof.
For a wallet
Show the mark beside the balance, with the percentage and when it was proven.
For a lending pool
Accept the asset as collateral and record the ledger it was checked at.
For an auditor
One more dated result for the file, tied to a ledger.
Reserves were below what is owed. The record shows the gap.
For a wallet
Show the gap, so holders know before they send or swap.
For a lending pool
Pause new borrowing against it until a proof shows it covered again.
For an auditor
A dated shortfall with its size, never rounded away.
No new proof arrived inside the expected window.
For a wallet
Say that no recent proof arrived. Never show the last result as current.
For a lending pool
Treat coverage as unknown and pause until the next proof lands.
For an auditor
A missing day, visible as a gap in the daily evidence.
Coming soonOne verdict per record
Lending pools
Accept collateral while it is covered.
A lending pool will check the verdict before each deposit with one call, is_covered, which is coming soon. Covered assets are accepted; short or stale assets wait until a new proof shows them covered again. Today a pool reads the latest proof's totals from the institution's contract with get_latest_proof.

ARSK deposits
ARSK is covered, so new deposits count as collateral.

Auditors
Dated evidence, tied to a ledger.
Every result carries the time it was made and the Stellar ledger it was checked at, so an auditor can check the days between audits. A daily history that shows at a glance where a proof did not arrive is coming soon.
